Swedish Pollutant Release and Transfer Register

The Swedish Pollutant Release and Transfer Register lists some 1,000 enterprises engaged in environmentally hazardous activities. These enterprises are divided into various activity categories according to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency’s environmental reporting rules (NFS 2006:9). Environmental reports disclose emissions

Various environmentally hazardous activities give rise to emissions to air or water, or emissions that enter wastewater treatment plants.

Every year, the companies concerned publish details of their emissions in their environmental reports. Every enterprise on this website has a permit for its emissions.
